Garlands Eickman Taking Visits

Garland football is on the brink of an undefeated regular season. Sitting at 9-0 (5-0) the Owls can complete the undefeated season with a win over Garland Naaman this Friday night. TE/DE Trevor Eickman has played his part in the teams success and is looking to continue that success at the college level.

If the last Eickman rings a bell with Warhawk fans, it's because Trevor is the younger brother of current Senior defensive end Travis Eickman. Trevor plays for the same Garland football team that produced Travis and ULM wide receiver J.J. McCoy.

Standing 6'3 205, Trevor already has the size college coaches like to see in a prospect. Eickman doubles as a tight end and a defensive end for the 9-0 Owls. For the season, Trevor has 9 receptions for 123 yards but more importantly helps lead the way with his blocking that has produced 1,700 rush yards for Garland.

"Coach Wells at ULM is recruiting me as a tight end", said Eickman. Obviously with my brother playing here I know what ULM is about and that is why I have interest in the Warhawks. I like it here.

As far as recruiting has been going Trevor has already taken a visit to TCU and has trips planned to Kansas, New Mexico State and North Texas. "I would say Kansas, ULM, and North Texas are recruiting me the hardest. They call me every week".

"If ULM was to offer they would have the inside track plus my teammate Chad Brown (Committed to ULM) and I have talked about playing together in college. "I believe an offer is coming, I brought my film with me on my visit so the coaches can evaluate it".

Stayed tuned to WarhawkNation.com as we continue to update the recruitment of Garland's Trevor Eickman.
