Warhawks Offer White Castle RB

White Castle running back Jyruss Edwards senior season came to a close this past Friday night but his recruitment is just heating up.

"Jyruss Edwards is starting to get the attention he should have been getting all along", said White Castle Coach Dominique. The 6'1 190 pound Edwards is projected to play running back or defensive back at the college level.

"Jyruss is already academically qualified with a 20 on his ACT. He has all his core units. What makes Jyruss so special is his "real game" speed and his vision".

Last year as a Junior Edwards led the state in total rushing going over the 2,000 yard mark. "When the storms came we lost 2 games on our schedule and Jyrusss missed another game and part of one with an injury. He still ran for 811 yards on 111 carries and finished with over 2,000 all purpose yards".

With his eye popping numbers and physical attributes Jyruss has gained the attention of several instate schools.

"ULM has offered Edwards a full scholarship", said Dominique. Louisiana Tech and Southeastern Louisiana have both been on him too and are probably both close to offering. I feel if Tech offers he might lean that way.

Jyruss does not have any official visits set up yet but will look to do so in the near future. Earlier in the year Edwards took unofficial visits to ULM, ULL, and SELA.
