Warhawks Grab Red Zone Offense

It's National Juco singing day and your ULM Warhawks have picked up a big commitment on the offensive side of the ball. Details Inside!

Mississippi Delta wide receiver Cordario Calvin has just informed Warhawk Nation that he intends to sign a national letter of intent with the ULM Warhawks today.

"My visit went well, I learned a lot of things about ULM that I had no idea about", said Calvin. The coaching staff broke down some of the offensive play sets and showed me how I could be a big part of their offense in 2009.

ULM runs a lot of the same sets I am familiar with. They feel like I can be a big asset to their offense because I can move well with or without the ball. Being close to home is also a big plus for me, ULM is only two hours away. My family and friends will be able to come and watch me play on Saturdays.

The 6'4 210 Cordario is planning to study Sports Medicine or the Education field when he arrives on campus. Calvin finished 2008 as one of the top wide receivers in the nation hauling in 44 passes for 547 yards and 7 touchdowns. He earned All-Region and All-State honors for his performance in 2008.
