Jarrett Brown, a 6'4 237 pound defensive end from Bowie high school tripped to the campus of the ULM Warhawks this weekend. Fresh off a trip to Fresno State, and with a visit scheduled to Kansas State next week, what did the big man think of his visit?

Bowie high school defensive end Jarrett Brown is quickly becoming a hot commodity in the world of college recruiting. The 6'4 Brown took the short trip East to check out the campus of ULM and came away with a different perspective.

"I had a great time this weekend, the atmosphere at ULM was really nice. My host Keavon Milton is from Texas and he showed me the ropes and kind of talked about his experience at ULM so far".

I was impressed with the layout of the campus and the new Academic Center they just built. I talked to some of the professors over their business program and that caught my eye, it's something I wouldn't mind majoring in".

"I am looking for a school where I can come in and compete for some early playing time".

What did the ULM coaching staff have to say to Brown? "Coach Weatherbie told me I could make it as a true freshman that I could be a big fish in a small pond".

Where does ULM stand on Jarrett's radar? I like ULM a lot, they are one of my top schools I will consider. Brown's teammate and close friend Jordan Selexman accompanied Jarrett on his visit and committed to the Warhawks over the weekend.

Will Jordan's commitment have an effect on Jarrett's decision" "A little bit".

Brown visited Fresno State last weekend and is tripping to Kansas State next weekend. After his KSU visit he will sit down and make a decision.
