Breaking News: ULM Reels In Big One

The ULM Warhawks just bagged a big one in Brownsboro defensive back Tristan Warren.

Brownsboro defensive back Tristan Warren just notified Warhawk Nation that he has given his verbal commitment to the ULM Warhawks.

Tristan held offers from ULM, LaTech, UTEP, SFA, and UCA to name a few.

Tristan is a versatile athlete than can play offense or defense for ULM but is being recruited as a defensive back. "ULM recruited me to play wide receiver and defensive back but I will most likely line up at corner back.

"I called Coach Wells Friday and told him that I wanted to go ahead and commit to ULM. He was under the weather but when I told him that I was committing, he started feeling better.

"Coach Weatherbie called me Saturday morning and just welcomed me to the ULM family, he congratulated me".

Tristan is academically qualified and will study Marketing at ULM when he enrolls. A shut down corner for Brownsboro, Tristan didn't many opportunities as a senior because teams never threw his way.

In 2007 Warren registered 83 tackles with 12 pass break ups and 5 interceptions. He also caught 20 passes for 450 yards and 5 scores.

In 2008 Warren caught 33 passes for 500 yards and five touchdowns, recorded 30 tackles and 2 interceptions.

The atmosphere at ULM when I visited won me over. I just remember it being a great place to play football.
