Colby Carr (6'4 200) Update
O.P. Walker sensation Colby Carr has put the team on his back and led the Chargers to a first place standing and Top 10 ranking in District 10-4A. Carr who was a early signing period commitment for the Warhawks led his team to the state championship game in 2008 before losing to power house Helen Cox and Greg Monroe.
Huge Mingo (6'3 180) Update
Mingo is a scorer who has a nice jump shot and good range from 3. He can slash to the basket and gets to the rim. Mingo rebounds well from the guard position. ESPN Scout's Inc gave Mingo a ranking of 80 and his ranking is described below.
80-89: High Major Prospect
Player has the potential to start or significantly contribute as a freshman for most top national Division I programs.
Mingo is averaging 11.1pts, 4 rebounds, 1.5 assist and 1 steal per game for the South Plains Texans.
New Mexico junior college center Fabio Ribero is one of three big men the ULM Warhawks are targeting to finish off their 2009 class. Standing 6'10 and 225, Ribero has season highs of 23 points and 20 rebounds for the Thunderbirds.
Carlos Dos Santos
Northeast Oklahoma A&M power forward Carlos Dos Santos is another big man the Warhawks could use down low in the paint. 6'8 and 260lbs, Santos is averaging 7.1pts and 5.3 rebounds per game this season.
Moustapha is a 6'9 230 pound power forward for Sheridan Wyoming Community College. Diarra is averaging 10.5 points, 6 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game for the Generals.
Moustapha played in 32 games last year averaging 10.5 ppg, 5 rpg in 16 minutes of play. Led the team in blocked shots with 39 on the year. Named to the All-Defensive Team last year. Shot 58% from the floor last year.
