Point Guard Commits To ULM

It's Less than a month before national signing day and the Warhawks have added their 3rd commitment to the program.

Warren Fuselier, a point guard out of San Bernardino Valley College in California has given his verbal commitment to the ULM Warhawks.

Fuselier, (5'9 150) is originally from Lafayette, La and prepped at Northside high school.

Fuselier had a brilliant 2008-09 campaign scoring 10.8 points per game while dishing out 4.2 assist per game. Warren shot 50% from the floor and 66% from the free throw line. His high game was 21 points.

With the help of Warren, San Bernardino won it's conference title in 2009, the teams 10th overall conference title. The Wolverines ended their season in a heartbreaking triple overtime defeat at the hands of the Rams from City College of San Francisco. Fuselier led the Wolverines in that game scoring 18 points.

For his performance, Warren was named All-Foothill Conference Honorable Mention. In his Freshman season, Warren was named to the All-Freshman team.

Fuselier visited the ULM campus this weekend and committed soon after. "I have been talking to big Rudy Turner". I told him I am coming to ULM and he is fixing to get the ball, we got to get the big man going".

"I really enjoyed my visit, ULM is a nice school and the coaching staff has great personalities. That is what drew me to them; they know how to interact with the players".

Warren will have two years of eligibility left when he arrives at ULM and is planning on studying Sports Medicine.

The Warhawks now have three verbal commitments. Warren joins Colby Carr, and Hugh Mingo for the class of 2009.
