Former ULM tight end Zeek Zacharie, undrafted and unsigned yet by an NFL team, is getting a look from Chicago this weekend.

"Zeek is going to Bears rookie minicamp on a tryout basis," his agent Albert Elias said.

The rookie minicamp will include other unsigned players, draft picks and undrafted rookie signees. It's a longshot opportunity, but Zacharie does have an chance to audition his skills. .

Zacharie, who projects as a fullback or H-back at the next level, was an All-Sun Belt performer for the Warhawks. He caught 46 balls for 510 yards and four touchdowns as a senior. He scored six touchdowns on 36 receptions for 437 yards in a breakout junior campaign.

Former ULM star Kevin Payne is a current member of the Bears team. The Bears also drafted Chris Harris out of ULM before trading him to the Panthers.
