The ULM Warhawks are not playing like Sun Belt Champions after losing their fourth in a row and eight of their last 11 decisions. Four more errors, 1 hit batsman, and 6 more walks allowed the Lamar Cardinals to take a 12-7 non conference victory last night.

Combined with last nights 11 free base debacle, the Warhawks walked a combined 12 batters, hit 2, and committed 7 errors in getting swept in the two game series.

ULM got two hits a piece from Boomer Blanchard, Nick Wade, and Casey Autonberry in the loss. Ben Soignier drove in two runs as did Blanchard. Ben tied Willie Core's all time doubles mark of 57 in the eighth inning last night.

The Warhawks have now committed 67 errors on the season. Only Arkansas State, New Orleans, and ULR have committed more.

On the flip side, ULM leads the conference in put outs, assists, and double plays turned with 51.

Fans with CSS TV will be able to catch the Warhawks on the tube this Saturday (3PM)as they start a three game series against the South Alabama Jaguars. First pitch is scheduled for Friday night at 7PM.
