Victory For ULM On Senior Night

Mother Nature called the game in the bottom of the 6th inning giving ULM a 6-2 victory on senior night.

Ben Soignier does what he does best and thats hit the baseball. Ben broke the all time doubles record tonight with a rope to left center field in the bottom of the fourth. ULM would bat around in the inning and post a five spot to take control of the game.

Ryan McMillan had a big night as well going 3/3 with two RBI's in his second to last game as a senior at Warhawk Field. Keith Christensen picked up the win for ULM as he threw five strong innings of work as he allowed just two runs on four hits and striking out three.

With his two RBI's tonight Ben is only two away from setting the all time ULM record for RBI's in a single season.

ULM received great news earlier in the day when they learned they would be the #7 seed in new weekends Sun Belt Conference Tournament in Troy, Alabama. ULM will face Western Kentucky in the first round.
