Baton Rouge Backing Holding Offer

LSU Labratory athlete Jamar Thomas played running back, wide receiver, and corner back in 2008 for the Cubs but his focus will be on running back in 2009.

"I have played so many positions these last couple of years", said Jamar Thomas. This year I am going to be the feature back and play some corner back".

As a sophomore, Thomas went over 1,000 total yards and followed that up with over 900 yards in 2008. He looks to eclipse both of those numbers in 2009.

How are things on the recruiting front?

"ULM talks to me a good bit. They liked my film and have offered me as an athlete. I want to learn more about them because I don't know much right now. As far as a visit I am setting something up next week so that I can drive up there and check out the campus".

"I want to find a nice school that I can call home for the next four years. Atmosphere is important and so are my academics".

Thomas currently holds a 2.8 GPA and scored an 18 on his first try at the ACT.
