The ULM staff has already located and offered a replacement for Love in Holy Savior Menard's Jonathan Ginsburgh.
Ginsburgh and his family took the short trip north from Alexandria to Monroe to watch the ULM Warhawks take on the FIU Panthers Saturday afternoon. WarhawkNation was there and caught up with the talented punter to get his thoughts on the visit and where he stands with his recruitment.
"Right now ULM is my only offer", said Ginsburgh. I am in contact with probably 8-10 schools on a consistent basis but the Warhawks are the only school that has extended an offer.
"ULM is a great place, I have really enjoyed my visit here. It feels like one big family at ULM, like your all related when you come into the stadium. I really like the coaching staff. Being comfortable with them and ULM being close to home, I could see myself coming to ULM and helping the team out".
On the academic side of things, what does ULM have to offer for you?
"I would like to major is business or a sports medicine. I know ULM has a very good business and marketing department. I went through an academic visit with ULM and that went great, I was very comfortable with it".
As for the game, Jonathan said he and his family stayed until the end. "We back to the locker room and talked with the coaching staff and some of the players. I got to talk to punter Scott Love and my recruiting coordinator Coach Leahy".
While it sounds like Ginsburgh's visit was a positive one, Warhawk fans will continue to hold their breath as the talented punter takes other visits and weighs possible future offers.
Stay tuned to Warhawk Nation as we continue to update Jonathan and his recruitment.
