The pine bluff zebras are off to a disappointing 2-3 start but that hasn't discouraged quarterback Claude Johnson. "I've been down before, we just have to learn from this and continue to work hard", said Johnson.
"With football in full swing Claude has been unable to take any visits to any college's thus far. "I am still getting a lot of letters everyday but nothing has really changed. ULM is still my only offer".
The Warhawks are off their best start since 1993 and sit in first place in the Sun Belt at 2-0. "I haven't really kept up to this point but I am planning on watching them on ESPN this next Tuesday against Arkansas State".
Johnson and Pine Bluff dropped a close 22-20 decision to Watson Chapel this past Friday night. Claude finished the night with 172 yards passing on 11/22 attempts. What was impressive were the 35 carries he tallied for 185 yards and 3 touchdowns.
As the season progresses, Warhawk Nation will get back in touch with Claude to get the latest with his recruitment.
