Warhawks Offer Speedster

With several of ULM's defensive backs graduating after this season, the Warhawks are looking for some play makers to step in early and help the team out. They will have to beat at least one BCS team for his rights.

If your looking for an under the radar prospect then Little Rock Christian defensive back Eric Redman is one to watch.

Redman (5'8 180) and his teammates didn't have the season they were hoping for but they did sneak into the playoffs. "We are excited to be in the playoff, anything can happen", said Eric.

Redman plays defensive back where he picked off three passes this season. After his junior season, teams decided it wasn't worth throwing his way anymore as Eric tallied 72 tackles and broke up 11 passes.

His performance got him an invite to the US Army All American combine in Dallas Texas were he posted an impressive 4.41 forty yard dash.

"Boston College offered me right after my performance at the combine". Since then I have picked up offers from ULM, Tulane, Henderson State, and Ouachita Baptist. Teams like Tulsa and Louisiana Tech are still in contact with me as well.

Eric is scheduled to come down to Monroe this weekend to watch ULM host Western Kentucky. "I want to check out the education system and the coaching staff. I need to see if they stay involved with the players. I also don't want to get too far away from home when I decide on a school".

Eric holds a 3.0 GPA and is waiting his results on his ACT.
