"I talked it over with my family and decided this was what was right for me", said Criswell.
"I called Coach Perkins last night and just told him that I had some good news for him". I told him I wanted to be a Warhawk.
Criswell and his family made the 3 1/2 hour drive down south to check out ULM this past Saturday when they hosted Western Kentucky.
"It came down to the coaching staff for me", said Justin. They all came up to me and introduced themselves and spent time with me. I decided this was where I wanted to be.
"The school in general, the fans, and the team just really impressed me the way they stick together".
Criswell (5'9 185) did it all for the Devil Dogs on offense and defense but is being recruited to play corner back for the Warhawks.
ESPN's Scout's Inc had this to say about Justin. "Criswell is a quick, elusive wide receiver who stands out in the slot position. Possesses very good hands and can make difficult receptions. Able to break tackles due to his quickness and fast feet. As a defensive back, doesn't have the size or physicality to be a safety. Could possibly play man-to-man corner position where his feet and quickness can be utilized.
Justin has a 3.1 GPA, scored a 20 on his ACT and is fully qualified coming out of high school.
Warhawk Nation will have Justin's 2009 senior highlights soon so check back with us for updates.
