Muskogee OL Makes It #15

What a weekend for the Warhawks as they pick up their 15th commitment for the 2010 class. ULM went big this weekend as they pick up their 4th offensive lineman. Get inside Warhawk Nation to learn about yet another Oklahoma prospect moving south to continue his career.

Give the new ULM coaching staff their due. They saw what was missing on the Warhawks team and addressed it in a big way this weekend. The newest commitment comes from Muskogee high school offensive lineman Jeremy Burton.

Burton (6'3 295) visited Monroe this weekend for his official and committed to Coach Berry before heading back to Oklahoma.

"It was great, ULM is a lot bigger school than I expected", said Burton.

"I met the players and just got their take on things. They let me know how college life was like at ULM, how their classes have gone, and kind of just what to expect".

"I committed to Coach Berry. You go where you are wanted, not where you want to go", said Jeremy. I trust Coach Berry's word. If he says it, then he means it. I will have a shot at early playing time but if not I will red shirt my first season".

Burton was being courted by SFA, Central Arkansas, and Missouri State before committing to the Warhawks.

Jeremy is academically qualified with a 19 on his ACT and a 3.0 GPA.
