Warhawks Get Texas Defensive End

ULM hosted another big group of prospects this weekend and got some more good news on the defensive side of the ball. Get inside to find out more about the Warhawks #18th commitment for 2010.

The ULM Warhawks got another big boost on the defensive line when Berkner Richardson defensive end Kentarius Caldwell verbally committed to the ULM program.

Caldwell (6'3 245) arrived Friday night for what he called an "amazing" visit to Monroe and ULM.

"They took us out to dinner Friday night and I met my host Kenneth Dorsey. He showed me around Monroe and introduced me to some of the players. We got up Saturday and toured the city, the campus, and checkout out the dorms. They showed us the new locker rooms, equipment, and new home jerseys".

"It was pretty cool to meet my position coaches. Coach Todd, and Coach Lett and I sat down and watched film and went through the playbook for about an hour".

"Having a guy like Coach Lett is going to be huge. He is a good mentor to have".

Caldwell said he wants to be apart of the ULM class that helps this program get to the next step. He is looking to major in construction managment. Kentavius holds a 3.0 GPA and scored a 1490 on his SAT.

Caldwell finished 2009 with 58 tackles, and 7 sacks. He forced four fumbles, and recovered two.
