Hodge Talks ULM

Northeast Louisiana is littered with rich talent and the home town Warhawks are digging in deep to keep that talent right here in Monroe.

14. That's how many offers Neville defensive tackle DeMarcus Hodge is now up too. The 6'0 300 pounder has his work cut out for him when it's time to make a decision on which school will gain his signature on signing day.

The hometown Warhawks have taken notice of DeMarcus as well and invited him to their one day camp a couple of weeks ago.

"I enjoyed it, everything was great", said Hodge. They showed me some things that I can use this coming season at Neville.

Hodge took particular interest in new defensive line coach Leon Lett as well. "I was impressed by him. He has obviously worked with the best and played at the highest level. He knows what he is doing".

"I didn't get a chance to tour the campus or school so I will return to take a closer look".

As far as making a college decision, DeMarcus is going to take his visits this fall and then decide which school will benefit him the most.

Hodge holds an offer from the hometown Warhawks as well as offers from Texas A&M, Arkansas, TCU, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Missouri, and others.

Hodge and the Neville Tigers will face the Bastrop Rams in the two teams Jamboree on August 28th. The Tigers will open the season on September 3th against the Ouachita Lions at 7PM.
