Bulldogs Add Linebacker Commitment

Louisiana Tech already had commitments from two of the top outside linebackers in the State. On Saturday, Tech added a middle lineqcker to the mix.

Ty Hook playes defensive end for Ryan High School in Denton, TX. His team is 6-0 heading into a big district showdown this week against The Colony.

Hook has good size as a linebacker at the next level and he said that middle linebacker is the position he is being recruited for. hook is 6'0" tall and he weighs around 215.

"I've been thinking about committing for a while," explained Hook. "I went to the game against Utah State and I had a great time. I went down after the game to talk to the coaches and I told them that I wanted to commit."

Hook is the sixth commitmment for Louisiana Tech Head Coach Sonny Dykes. He was recruited by Assistant Coach Kevin Curtis.

Hook talked about how the recruiting process played out for him. "It got to the point where I was ready to commit," he added. "Tech showed the most interest. I've been to other schools, but Tech feels like it's the place for me."
