"I missed two games, but it affected me the entire season. Now, I'm almost 100% - after undergoing therapy for it."
Jackson isn't receiving much interest from college recruiters at this point, but he'll be able to make an impression this spring and fall when scouts check out the Bulldogs. Lutcher produces a steady supply of college prospects, including five-star WR Jarvis Landry (LSU signee). Moreover, Jackson's teammates, RB/WR Daniel Taylor and CB Jordan Batiste, already have scholarship offers.
"I went to the U.S. Army Junior Combine in San Antonio with Daniel and Jordan," said Jackson. "It's been a big help, going against those guys in practice over the years. We're a big family.
"Jarvis taught me a lot in practice with our battles, and I also learned a lot from him off the field."
Jackson is open to any schools that are looking for a good defensive back.
"I'm a physical corner who likes to jam the receivers at the line," he said. "I'm going to be at a lot of camps this summer, trying to get my name out there.
"I was getting mail from Mississippi State, but that stopped. I like to hear from colleges anywhere. It doesn't matter where they're from; I'm interested in everyone."
