White Adds Big Man

According to HereComeTheDawgs.com sources, Isaiah Massey will enroll at Louisiana Tech.

Isaiah Massey signed with Ole Miss last season. Here's what Scout.com reported a year ago when he signed:

"Originally from Brooklyn, N.Y., Massey is rated by ESPN.com as one of the top 20 fifth-year players in the nation. He averaged 15 points, 12.5 rebounds and 3.4 blocks per game at TAAG Academy. He previously attended Union Grove High School in McDonough, Ga., where he posted 17 points and 12 rebounds and three blocks per game before going to prep school. Massey chose the Rebels over interest from Providence, St. John's, South Florida and UAB."

Massey, along with Mike Kyser, gives Louisiana Tech Head Coach Mike White two young post players on the roster. With two senior centers and a junior power forward, the Bulldogs needed some youth in the post. Massey is a 6'7" 225-pound power forward.

According to Ben Garrett from Ole Miss Spirit, Massey has tremendous potential. "He's extremely athletic, but raw," said Garrett. "He can leap out of the gym. He has a torn ACL, so he probably won't contribute for a year. He has a lot of upside."

Massey will to sit out one year, so he should have plenty of time to rehab his injury.
