Two of Tech's Top Targets on Tap

Ruston's Kentrell Brice and Strong's Kenneth Dixon are both planning to attend Louisiana Tech's home opener with Central Arkansas.

Kenneth Dixon

Kentrell Brice talked about how his season has gone so far. "It's started off rocky," he admitted. "We're going to get it started soon."

Brice is a standout defensive back for the Bearcats and also returns kicks. "No one will kick it to me," he added. "I take that as a compliment."

Brice said he is hearing from the same schools. He hopes to make his college decision soon. He says he will choose between Louisiana Tech, ULL, and he's hoping for an offer from Baylor.

Kenneth Dixon had a big first game for Strong. He had 20 yards per carry and went over 300 yards to go with five touchdowns.

Dixon says he hears the most from Louisiana Tech, but Memphis is also on him pretty hard. He plans on making his college choice after football season.

With senior quarterback Lennon Creer and senior safety Ryan Williams both set to graduate, Louisiana Tech will have a couple of major voids to fill in their 2012 depth chart. Kenneth Dixon and Kentrell Brice are two prospects that would go a long way in rebuilding the top of that depth chart.
