Hamilton Talks Tech Visit

Alex Hamilton, Scout.com's 23rd ranked shooting guard, recently visited Louisiana Tech.

"I think it would be a good fit," said Alex Hamilton, a 6'4" guard from Chipley, FL.

Hamilton was joined by Demetrius Moore from Northwest Florida College. Hamilton admitted that he didn't know Moore before the visit, but he had seen him play in high school.

Moore, a 6'8" power forward, comes from a program that has seen power forwards sign with Wichita State and Morehead State in the last two years.

Louisiana Tech has targeted the State of Florida in recent years. The Bulldogs signed Brandon Gibson from Marianna three years ago and more recently Kenny Smith from the Tampa area was signed by Head Coach Mike White.

"I met all the players on the team," added Hamilton. "I like how big it is," he said when talking about the Thomas Assembly Center.

Hamilton is a versatile guard that can play the point or at shooting guard. He averaged 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists last season, earning First Team Class 3A All-State.
