David Jackson Set to Sign

BleedTechBlue.com talked to John Mulhearn, who coached Jackson this season at Mesa Community College.

"I call David a very advanced skill player," Mulhearn said. "He can dribble, shoot, pass, and he is the best I have seen at executing the pick and roll. He has incredible anticipation and blocks shots really well."

Jackson can play both forward positions. He has the size to play inside but the skill to play on the perimeter. His versatility will be an asset to Coach Kerry Rupps Bulldog squad.

Mulhearn said that Jackson would be a good fit for Tech. "I know he is excited about going there," Mulhearn added. "He is a good kid and will fit in well with what they are doing."

In addition to Jackson, Tech is set to sign Jamel Guyton from Odessa, TX and Brandon Gibson from Marianna, FL. Vernon Teel, from Chipola Junior College, visited this weekend and could be a fourth signee for Coach Rupp.
