Morrow, who was his District's offensive MVP last season, missed three games due to an injury. The missed time put a damper on his stats, but he has wasted no time getting back into things.
Two weeks ago, Morrow ran for 106 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries in his first game back against Brownsboro. The next week, he had 18 carries for 171 yards and three scores against Athens.
Morrow, a solid commitment to Louisiana Tech, is not the only prospect for Westwood. Sam Dunnam, a 6'5" 240 defensive end, is also attracting interest. "Sam has interest from UNT and he gets letters from TCU," said Coach Anderson. "He plays both ways for us and should grow into an offensive tackle at the next level."
Video of Morrow is on the way to BleedTechBlue and should be up soon. Check back for the latest on Tech's first commitment of the 2009 class, DJ Morrow.
