Tristan Warren Update

Louisiana Tech is recruiting District 20-3A in East Texas very hard.

Louisiana Tech received thir first commitment this year from D.J. Morrow, a running back from Westwood High School in Palestine, TX.

The Bulldogs staff have also offered Jagared Davis from Crockett, TX and Tristan Warren from Brownsboro, TX. Westwood, Crockett, and Brownsboro all compete in District 20-3A.

John Settle, Head Coach for the Brownsboro Bears, said Tristan Warren likes Louisiana Tech. "He has offers from LaTech, UTEP, ULM, and SFA," said Coach Settle. "He likes Tech and ULM. Coach Perot from Tech has been keeping in touch with him."

Brownsboro start the season 4-0, but they lost their next three games. "We lost a couple of close games," added Coach Settle. "In one of them we blew a 41-19 lead. We also lost to Westwood, but they are a very good team. Morrow wasn't even 100% for them."

Brownsboro looks to get back on track this week against Palestine. Warren is interested in Engineering as a major, a good sign for Louisiana Tech fans. Warren recently attended a game at ULM and plans to visit Tech and SFA soon.
