Courtney Easterwood Profile

Courtney Easterwood had a favorite in Tennessee. Now he is back to square one.

Courtney Easterwood transferred to Olive Branch High School in Mississippi this year. "We're 9-2 right now," said Easterwood. "We start the playoffs this week against Clinton."

Easterwood wanted to go to Tennessee, where his teammate, Aubrey Phillips, was committed. "After Coach Fulmer resigned," added Easterwood. "They stopped calling. I don't know what they are going to do."

With Tennessee possibly out of the picture, Easterwood is not without options. "I'm still talking to Louisiana Tech and Ole Miss," explained the 6'3" lineman. "I went to an Ole Miss game a couple of weeks ago and they said they will be in touch. "

"I talk to Coach Brumbaugh at Tech every week," said Easterwood. "I met him this summer and he stayed in touch. They thought I was committed to Florida State. When they found out I was still open, they offered me a scholarship."

Easterwood said that he is interested in Louisiana Tech, Ole Miss, and Auburn. "I'm definitely going to take an official visit to Tech," he added. "I will probably take one to Ole Miss too."
