Big Weekend for Tech

Tyrone Duplessis committed to Louisiana Tech today. When Nevada comes to town on Saturday, several more big name recruits will be in attendance.

D.J. St. Julien said he was ready to commit to Louisiana Tech. "I'm going to call as soon as I get off work," he said. St. Julien would become Tech's twelfth commitment for the 2009 class. Tyrone Duplessis was the eleventh when he committed earlier today.

Roderick Goodlow, the #85 safety in the country, will be at the Nevada game this weekend. He said he has not set an official visit date, but he has Tech in his top five with Wisconsin, Northwestern, Notre Dame, and Kansas. Tech is recruiting Goodlow as a linebacker.

Deante Triplett said he has Louisiana Tech in his top two along with Tulane. The big running back was hoping to make it up to Ruston for the game on Saturday.

Some of Tech's top commits will also be there. Matt  Nelson, Doak Raulston, and Kendrick James will all make their return to campus.
