Prior said he didn't really have any favorites before he committed to UNT. "It just seemed right," he explained. "I like all the school that are recruiting me, I didn't have a top three or anything."
While Goodlow visited his top three schools as well as Notre Dame, Prior said UNT was his only visit. Prior also said he did nt have any more official visits planned.
On the junior college recruiting front, signing day is in two days. Ira Smith told scout.com that he is leaning to Ole Miss. While Louisiana Tech may be behind on Smith, they are in the lead for Jacob Miller. "It is a great possibility," said Miller about signing with Tech on Wednesday. "Tech is on the top of my list."
Adam Ayala visited Colorado State this weekend, while Josh Harris visited Louisiana Tech. Both players seem to be down to two teams and both plan on making decisions by early January. Ayala has offers from Tech and Colorado State, while Harris has offers from Tech and Wake Forest.
With 19 commitments in hand, Louisiana Tech is in good shape going into the Christmas break. Some of the top players from Louisiana in the mix for Tech include Chad Boyd, Josh Johns, Jordan Mills, and Rufus Porter. Bulldog Head Coach Derek Dooley had in-home visits with all four players just two weeks ago.
Additional players from Louisiana still considering Tech are Cornelius Lucas, Quin Giles, Trey Wilson, and Torell Miller.
Other top players from Texas left on the board include Germad Reed, Tyler Washington, Anthony Miller, Tristan Warren, JaGared Davis, and Jarvis Phillips.
Players from other states that are still targets for Tech include Jesse Grandy, Courtney Easterwood, TJ Stephens, and Kendall Houston.
With signing day two months away, it should be an exciting ride to the finish line.
