L'Damian Washington Still a Bulldog

Big 12 member Nebraska contacts Louisiana Tech commitment L'Damian Washington

Recruiting in the bayou state is not a surprise due to the head husker Bo Pellini's Louisiana ties. Nebraska has 3 Louisiana natives on their roster: Calvary Shreveport WR Khiry Cooper, John Curtis DB PJ Smith and McDonogh 35 DT Terrence Moore. Bleed Tech Blue spoke to Washington Thursday night and he reaffirmed his commitment to the bulldogs.

Washington was in Lafayette practicing for the inaugural Sportsman's Paradise all star game. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10.

L'Damian had a chance to see the bulldogs play in person for the first time this year at the Indy Bowl and he left the game excited to be a bulldog." The fan base was great, all these Tech fans in Shreveport." L'Damian caught 53 passes this season for 12 touchdowns for Shreveport's Green Oaks High School. If he continues to put up those numbers in college, bulldog fans will be the ones excited. The 6'4 185 lb WR racked up 1064 yards for the season. After the all-star game L'Damian will stay busy with basketball and track.
