Phillip Sims, the Scout.com #4 Quarterback in the country, recently committed to Alabama. Does that have an affect on Broadway's feeling toward the Tide? "He's not ruling anyone out," explained Coach Germany.
"I don't know at the moment,"said Broadway. "Commitments don't mean everything."
So what did Broadway think of today's news? "It was great," he added. "They beat Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. They have a great program."
Coach Germany said his signal caller has all the tools. "He understands how to read the defense. He understands coverages," mentioned Coach Germnany. "His strengths are leadership, competitiveness, mental toughness, and his athletic ability."
Offense is a key factor in recruiting Terrance Broadway. "Virginia runs the spread," he said. "They should offer soon. UConn runs the spread. Tech throws it a lot. Nebraska has a great offense."
Capitol is starting spring football today. "They're excited to get out there," said Coach Germany.
A key player to keep an eye on is Corey White. White is a 2011 offensive lineman that will be a key part of keeping the defense out of the backfield.
White is a 6'4" 307 pound big man that can play guard or tackle. "He has always played basketball," exlained Coach Germany. "He has great feet. He's quick, he has good size, and he's very coachable."
White is already getting noticed. "Coach (LSU offensive coordinator Gary) Crowton has seen him," added Coach Germany. "They like him."
There were a lot of talented linemen at the Scout.com Combine in New Orleans earlier this month. White held his on with all of the 2010 players and was one of the top big men at the camp. He should be one of the premier offensive linemen in the state in 2011.
