Ancar said he weighed in at Tech at 204 pounds. That's 20 pounds heavier than at the Scout.com combine back in March. "I've been working," explained Ancar. "I've been running and lifting, trying to get in shape."
To put things in perspective, Ancar was one of the most physically imposing players at the combine. It's hard to imagine how big and strong he looks with the added muscle.
The South Plaquemines linebacker said he went to camp at LSU earlier this month. "It went real smooth," he mentioned. "I talked to Les Miles. He wants me to walk on, but I'm not intertested in walking on anywhere."
"I've been hearing the most from Northern Illinois and Tech," added Ancar. "They have both offered scholarships. I've heard from a few smaller schools, too. My coach has been in touch with Tulane and he is supposed to be sending tape to them."
Seth said he does not intend to commit early, but he is not sure when he might make a decision. We'll catch up with Seth again when the season gets going.
