"Harold's been all over the place," explained Coach Juluke. "LSU, Tennessee, FIU, Virginia, Ole Miss, Minnesota. He is planning to be at Tech next week."
"He (Harold) likes them all," added Juluke. "Distance will be a factor. Getting to play early is important and getting along well with the coaching staff is important."
"Ole Miss, Tennessee, Michigan, Oregon are some of the schools on top right now for Munchie," Juluke said of his quarterback. "West Virginia already has two quarterback commitments. Tennessee has another guy they like and Ole Miss hasn't offered yet."
Michigan has a commitment from a top ten quarterback. Oregon has offered both Legaux and Capitol's Terrance Broadway. Tennessee has offers out to Jesse Scroggins of Lakewood, CA and Jeffrey Godfrey of Miami, FL.
Two other players from Edna Karr are on the radar of college coaches. "Dwayne Mitchell has an offer from Minnesota and Audoniss Madison is going to get a lot of attention," exlained Coach Juluke. "Audoniss has an 18 on the ACT and a 2.2 GPA right now. He will get that up some and he will start getting more calls."
Madison is a 6-3.5 300 pound lineman. Mitchell plays both linebacker and saftey for Coach Juluke.
Coach Juluke said Frank Wilson from Tennessee and Terry Joseph from Louisiana Tech are recruiting his players. Does it help those schools to recruit the area when they have coaches that are from New Orleans?
"Always," said Coach Juluke. "Any time you have ties, it's always a plus. A player needs someone he can talk to, that he can relate to. He needs someone that speaks the language. There are always ups and downs and a player wants to talk to someone he can trust."
