LaTech Commits Get Started

Louisiana Tech is going into week two of the college football season. High school football is also going strong and Tech has a few commitments to keep an eye on.

Taylor Burch was 12 of 24 for 218 yards and 3 touchdowns as Neville beat Ouachita 55-34.

Antonio Graves was 4 of 6 for 220 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 47-0 win over Pine Tree. He also rushed 9 times for 43 yards and a score. Against Hooks, Graves threw for one touchdown and ran for two more in a 40-0 win.

Charcandrick West rushed 17 times for 98 yards and added 93 yards receiving including a 74 yard touchdown. Springhill fell to Haynesville 27-14.

Michael Schrang helped hold Pearland to a single touchdown as Kingwood won 9-7. Kingwood beat Clear Creek 16-13. Clear Creek did not score in the second half.

Ben Jackson helped Texas High beat Lake Hamilton 33-13. Jackson led the offensive line in helping Kody Sutton rush for 105 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Carter Street has helped Pilot Point to a 2-0 start including a 34-0 shutout of Whitesboro.
