LaCraig Brown Opens it Back Up

LaCraig Brown had committed to Arkansas, but now two new leaders have emerged.

"I felt a little pressure to commit to Arkansas because they are in the SEC," said LaCraig Brown. "Not so much from Arkansas, but from people around me. I have to make the decision for me. I'm the one that has to go there."

"Louisiana Tech and TCU are at the top now," said Brown, who said he is still considering Arkansas too. "They both are good schools and good teams. I have family in Fort Worth and my family wants me to stay close. Fayetteville is a little far away."

Brown was in Ruston for the Louisiana Tech home opener. He plans to make another Tech game soon. On November 14th, Brown said he will visit TCU.

LaCraig Brown had positive things to say about Louisiana Tech after watching them beat Hawaii on ESPN2. "I love the way the team stays together and the fans are real supportive," he added.

Brown helped Richwood shut out Ruston last Friday. Perhaps he was inspired by D'Anthony Smith and the Tech defensive line last week after they shut down Hawaii's offense.

We will keep in touch with LaCraig throughout the recruiting process. It's just starting to heat up for the big man from Richwood.
