Two Recruits from Alabama have Big Games.

Pat McNeil and Jacolby Hardnett were in action last week.

Pat McNeil from Davidson High School in Mobile had a big game last week against Williamson.

"We won 24-0," said McNeil. "I had six tackles, two sacks, one pass breakup, and four hurries." Davidson controlled the ball for most of the game, so McNeil did his damage in a small window of playing time.

Jacolby Hardnett was equally disruptive to Northview. The Opelika linebacker helped his team to a 31-7 win. "I had seven tackles, two for a loss, and an interception," said Hardnett.

Hardnett, a 6-0 196 pound linebacker/safety, has a Louisiana Tech offer. He saw Tech play at Auburn, but hasn't made it over to Ruston yet. "I would love to get a visit set up for LA Tech though," he added.

McNeil, a 6'2" 270 pound defensive tackle, made it over for Tech's home game against Nichols State. He has multiple offers including Tech, New Mexico, and Louisville.

Former All-SEC defensive lineman Jimmy Brumbaugh played at Auburn and is now the defensive line coach at Louisiana Tech. He is doing a good job getting Tech's name to recruits in Alabama. The Bulldogs have several recruits on the board from Alabama and landed both of their middle linebackers, Adrien Cole and Solomon Randle, from Mobile in 2008.

Upcoming series with Mississippi State and Southern Miss should help Louisiana Tech be even more visible in Mississippi and Alabama in the future years.
