LA Tech Hosting Big Recruits This Weekend.

Recruiting is heating up at Louisiana Tech. The Bulldogs are looking for immediate help on the defensive line.

Pat McNeil and LaCraig Brown both confirmed that they will be in Ruston this weekend. Louisiana Tech is looking for defensive tackles that can help right away. Both McNeil and Brown are the kind of players that can help the Bulldogs from day one.

"I made my first visit to TCU last week," said Brown. "It was alright. I'm visiting Tech this weekend.

Brown seems to be close to making a decision. When asked, his response was to the point. "Real close," he said.

McNeil said he is going to wait a little longer to make up his mind. "I'm going to make my decision in late January," explained the Mobile, AL native. "I want to make all of my visits first."

With D'Anthony Smith and Adrian Logan moving on, Louisiana Tech Head Coach Derek Dooley returns only two players with significant playing experience inside. Ramone Randle and Mason Hitt both return and both will be seniors in 2010.

In other recruiting news, HereComeTheDawgs was able to confirm that Antonio Burton from Guyer, TX has committed to Louisiana Tech. Guyer is the 10th public commitment for Coach Dooley. Transfers Lennon Creer, Ahmad Paige, and Tim Molton will also be a part of the 2010 team for Coach Dooley.
