North LA FCA Combine this weekend.

Some of the top athletes in the region will be in attendance on Saturday in West Monroe. Hall of Famer Fred Dean will also be on hand to speak to the players.

Monroe Carroll's Tyree Hollins, Ruston's Jaren Johnson, and Monroe Neville's DeMarcus Hodge are just some of the area's top players scheduled to be at the first North Louisiana FCA Combine.

Ouachita's Justin Ginyard, Richwood's Michael Hunter, and Delhi Charter's Riccie Gray will also be in attendance. Other schools expected to send players include Evangel, host school West Monroe, Crossett (AR), and Monroe Wossman.

Players will come from as far as Longview, TX as well as Lakeview HS, Cenla Christian, Homer, and Madison High School. Other local schools participating include Grambling, Cedar Creek, Caldwell, Sterlington, and River Oaks.

The First Annual North Louisiana FCA Combine sponsored by Irrigation Mart, First National Bank, and Athletic Republic is Saturday, May 22nd at West Monroe High School's Rebel Stadium in West Monroe, LA. All members of the media are invited to attend. The combine will take place from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

The event is for high school juniors in the North Louisiana area with college football potential. We expect to have over 100 of the region's top juniors so they can showcase their talents. Player's height and weight will be measured as will their 40 yard dash and their vertical jump. We will also have the 3 cone drill and the short shuttle. Athletic Republic will do all the testing.
