TJ Price is a Prospect for Two Sports

T.J. Price will have an interesting decision to make this spring. He will have plenty of options to choose from.

T.J. Price, a First Team All-State basketball performer in Louisiana Class 4A, averaged 20.3 points per game as a junior at Salmen High School.

"The summer is going good," said Price. "I just came back from basketball camp at Oklahoma State."

Price, a 6'3" 215 pound wing player, talked about the sport of basketball. "I just love to play the game," he said, "I'm more of a shooter, but I can also penetrate and dish."

T.J. is hearing from Baylor, Oklahoma State, and Louisiana Tech for basketball. He is going to a camp at Tulane this Saturday and will attend the Vegas Showcase with New Orleans Select in late July.

As much interest as Price is getting for basketball, he is just as talented on the football front. He has great quickness at defensive end and he has already picked up a few offers.

"I just love to go out there and hit somebody." added Price. "I thought about playing both sports, but that would be hard to do and stay on top of things in the classroom."

"In football, I have offers from Louisiana Tech, SMU, and South Alabama. "I went to Junior Day at Louisiana Tech. It went good. I just talked to Coach Eggen again on Saturday."

Price, along with fellow defensive lineman Malcolm Pichon, will get alot of looks from college coaches this fall. Check back with Scout.com for the latest on this mulit-sport prospect.
