Hodge said he wants to see some of the schools a second time. "I have a few things I want to check on," he explains. "I want to see more of Mississippi State and I have things I want to see again at Arkansas."
Hodge recently got a second look at Louisiana Tech. "I had been to a camp earlier, so I knew what to expect," he added. "We had a lot of fun. It was good to see all of the area players and go up against guys from some of the local schools."
DeMarcus had a little catching up to do with a former teammate and also got to trade notes with another highly touted defensive tackle. "I got to talk to Justin Ellis and some of the other defensive linemen on the team," said Hodge. "We talked about a lot of things. We worked on my left handed stance. I'm good at it now, but it's something I still need to work on. I need hold it longer. They said it will be a big asset for me to be able to line up on either side. Schools are looking for versatile players up front."
Hodge got a chance to hang out with Chuck Hunter from West Monroe. "We already knew each other," he added. "It was good to talk about the recruiting process, where we are at this time, and the different schools that are recruiting us."
