With his mind on games and recruiting, Green has decided one school is pulling away for him. The Cajun Redzone talks to Nigel about his season and recruitment.

Northwest Rankin played two very good teams the first two games and came away with wins. Green was a vital part of those games.

"We played Calloway in the first game. I had 8 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 3 pass breakups. We won the game. In our second game, we played Mendenhall. I had 7 tackles and 1 interception for 31 yards. We won that game as well. This year has been so different for me. I have been so calm and have played that way. I know the in's and out's of our Defense and it makes me feel so comfortable."

With his season in full swing, Green is focusing on that and trying to earn an offer from a certain school. If that offer comes, Green knows where he will be headed.

"Two schools are in contact with me all the time now. UL and Louisiana Tech. I hear from them everyday. I know everyday when I go to the mailbox I will have something from them. I plan on waiting a little bit but I dont know. Me and Wil Freeman have been talking about going to UL together. They are recruiting us the hardest and thats where we want to be. We both know thats a place we can go together and be successful. UL has shown us they want us and in the end they are gonna get us."
