Miller-McCoy DL Brian Webb committed to the Tulane Green Wave in April after receiving his first offer from Coach Johnson. But later this past summer, Webb decided he would open his recruitment back up to other schools and wants to wait until after his senior season to make his final decision.
One of the programs Webb visited for spring football and has kept in communication with is Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. Webb spoke to Coach Lovings and Rebowe recently and decided he wanted to come in to watch a home game and experience the game time atmosphere at Cajun Field.
"The atmosphere was great even with all the rain," Webb stated. "I really enjoyed the visit and the way the fans got into the game against Southern. This was my first game at UL and it was definitely enjoyable experience."
While the coaching staff didn't have a lot of time to visit with Webb, he did speak to Coach Willis and Coach Rebowe.
"We didn't have much time to visit with the coaches focused on the game, but Coach Willis and Coach Rebowe both spoke to me," Brian said. "They both said they were happy I came in to visit and watch the game, and they are going to come out and watch a few games this season.
Brian Webb stated that he will visited Tulane this weekend as they are hosting Georgia Tech in the opening of Yulman Stadium. But, he is focused on the season's first game Friday night against Northshore.
"I'm ready to play the first game tomorrow night against Northshore," Webb stated. "I want to have a great season and show what I can do on the field; and be a leader on my team. As for visits, I'm going to the Tulane game Saturday and I'm also considering visiting Arkansas and Louisville. Both programs have told me recently that they will come down and watch me play. I want to come back up for another game at UL as well, but I'm not sure which one. I want to finish my senior season before making any decisions right now."
