Northside High's Ethan Rose became the Ragin' Cajuns 19th public verbal commitment to the 2015 recruiting class Friday after recieveing an offer from Head Coach Mark Hudspeth. Rose attended several of the Ragin' Cajuns prospect camps during the summer and raised a few eye brows in the July camp running a 4.51 in his only 40-yard time. Since that camp, the Cajuns had been waiting on Rose's video of his first six games of the 2014 season to gather more information. This past Friday night, Coach Hudspeth and Offensive Coordinator Jay Johnson flew to the Cecilia vs Northside matchup and watched Rose in person score four touchdowns in a losing effort to the Bulldogs. Friday morning Ethan Rose receieved a phone from the Cajun's staff with an offer from Head Coach Mark Hudspeth. Rose didn't take long to think about his decision, giving Coach Hudspeth his veral pledge and becoming the 19th public commitment to the 2014 Ragin' Cajuns recruiting class. Rose was not available for comment this afternoon other then aknowledging on text that he did commit to the Ragin' Cajuns.
Rose has accounted for over 1,572 yards of total offense and 17 Touchdowns. While his defensive stats are not available at this time, the Cajun Redzone is aware of 3 interceptions at the defensive back position. The Northside senior and his teammates will face rival Teurlings Catholic tonight at Viking Stadium, kickoff time scheduled for 7PM.
