"I took my first trip down to Lafayette a few weeks back," Nic said. "That was the first time I've been to their campus and got the chance to meet Coach Hudspeth and his staff. I liked their defense, they play their edge guys off the line at times, but they come up the field and attack too. I also had the chance to meet some of the new defenses coaches after the first scrimmage I attend.”
Nic Wiggins decided to make a second trip back to Lafayette last weekend and left with an offer.
“After the scrimmage, I spoke to Coach Hudspeth and he told me that were offering me,” Wiggins stated. “I like the new defensive coordinator Coach Smith and I also enjoyed talking to Coach Harbison. They both said I fit in their scheme and I could play in their defense. The program is definitely on the way up and they are building nice facilities.”
Wiggins recently took his first ACT test and is waiting for his test results to see where he stands.
“I took my first test a few weeks back and I’m waiting to see how I did,” Nic stated. “I plan on taking the ACT a few more times, but right now I’m just trying to stay focus in class and get ready for spring football. I don’t know what camps I will be attending this summer, but I will sit down and look at the schools that have offered and make some decisions.”
Keep a close eye on Nicholas Wiggins, odds are his list of offers will grow over the summer.
