The Ragin’Cajuns Football program hosted a number of top 2016 and 2017 recruits this weekend as Coach Hudspeth opened the doors to the new Student-Athlete Performance Center. While the staff is still looking to fill a few positions in the 2016 class, they also entertained a number of top juniors from Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. Who were some of the top juniors visiting the campus this past weekend?
One of Mississippi’s top juniors Greenville OL Darquavion Davis visited along with Baton Rouge Christian Life athlete Jacob Kibodi, Plaquemine DB Willie Dawson, Northside High DT Tyler Shelvin, Plaquemine High DB Todd Harris, Lutcher High WR Al’dontre Davis, Amite WR Devonta Smith and Plain Dealing athlete Keldrick Carper, Livonia High athlete Christion Edwards and Columbus New Hope Mississippi OL Taekion Reed all traveled down to Lafayette. Those were just a few of the top juniors that visited this past weekend.
The Cajuns also welcomed in 2016 commitments Tanner Holmes, Jacques Boudreaux, Korey Louis, Nic Wiggins, Jahaziel Lee, Tra’Vontae Booker, Phabion Woodard and Akkai Ward for a first up close look at the APC facility.
Other 2016 notable prospects that visited this past weekend were Acadiana High athletes Kevin Moore and Javonis Issac, Beaumont Westbrook OL Alfred Beverly, Riverside Academy WR Herb McGee, Manvel High DE Hasauin Glasgow, Donaldsonville athlete Tyler Brown and Houston Christian OL Braden Kopp.
