Seth Stansbury has the reputation of always being around the football. The 6-0,220-pound hard hitter recorded 160 tackles and six sacks during his junior year. He spent his summer working out, rehabbing his knee and trying to prove he is ready to return to his junior form.
"I've been working out hard this summer and getting my knee ready for the camps, said Stansbury." "I attended camps at LSU and UL this summer; I thought both camps went well."
Like may kids in Louisiana, Stansbury grew up an LSU fan. But Seth spoke about his camp experience at UL and his discussion with Coach Fouquier.
"The coaches thought I did fine at the UL camp and Coach Fourquier told me that they are going to watch me through the season."
While Seth was attending prospect camp, he did notice a few current Cajun athletes in attendance.
"They had a couple of big guys that were standing on the sidelines, watching everything going on. Those guys clearly have been spending time in their new weight room. That's really a nice weight room, with quality equipment."
Seth doesn't have any offers as of yet, so he is open at this point to any college football program.
"I don't have any offers yet, but I have received a few calls and continue to get letters from colleges."
Stansbury shouldn't have to wait long, as he sports a 28 ACT test score and a 4.0 GPA.
