At 6-6,280-pounds, St.Paul Offensive tackle Nathan Quick is a imposing figure on the football field. The big senior tackle has had interest from Louisiana, S.Miss.,Stanford and Louisiana Tech during the evaluation period. What did Quick have to say about his visit to Cajun Field for the Kent State game?
"It was really great," said Quick. "(UL's) offense manhandled that defense. A coach told us afterward that they had like over 600 yards. They looked really good."
What did Quick think of the UL staff?
"The UL coaches look like they are there for the players," added Quick. "That was the impression I got. "I haven't looked at what Kent State's record was last season... but 600 yards? That's really good regardless."
What programs are on Quick's list right now?
"For me," Quick stated, "it's Louisiana, Stanford, Louisiana Tech, and Southern Mississippi."
Academics are not a problem for Nathan Quick, as he has scored a 24 on his first ACT test.
Quick benches 320, squats 500 and runs a 5.3 40.
