O.P. Walker Safety Torell Miller has been on the radar of college recruiters as early as 2007, which programs have contacted Miller and what are his thoughts?

Torell Miller has been on college recruiters watch list since his junior year at O.P. Walker high. The 6-2, 185-pound senior has done nothing thus far this season to hurt his status a solid Division I prospect. Miller spoke to the Cajun RedZone about his planned visit to ULM this past weekend and his interest in the Louisiana Ragin'Cajuns.

Torell was scheduled to attend the ULM and Louisiana game in Monroe this weekend, did he enjoy the game?

"I was scheduled to attend the ULM and ULL this weekend, but I had a death in the family and couldn't attend, said Miller." "But I received updates on my phone; man that was a crazy game!"

What other programs have been in contact with Torell Miller besides ULM?

"Well besides ULM; Louisiana Tech, ULL and LSU are the other programs that have contacted me the most, said Torell." "I went to camps at Alabama, Louisiana Tech, LSU and the ULM camp in New Orleans. Those are the main four right now."

Which coach is recruiting you from UL and what do you know about the program?

"Coach Rebowe is recruiting me for ULL, stated Miller." "I know that UL is in the Sun Belt and they have a very explosive offense. I've watched them on television, but I have never been to a game or visited the campus."

Torell Miller has a 3.0 GPA, but needs to raise his ACT test score from a 16. What are some of the important intangibles that Miller is looking at in a college program?

I'm looking at academics, because its not just about playing football, said Torell." "I want to make sure that I have a degree when I'm done playing football. I also want to win and be part of a program that has an opportunity to play in bowl games."
