Quinn Giles has put up eye popping numbers thus far this season at Evangel High, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The 5-10, 185-pound senior leads the state with over 750 receiving yards and 12TDs. Giles currently has offers from Vanderbilt, Tulane, Southern Miss, ULM, Louisiana Tech, Louisiana, Northwestern, TCU and Oklahoma State. The Cajun RedZone recently caught up with Quinn, what is the latest on his recruitment?
"Arizona and Oklahoma State are the latest programs to contact me this past week, said Giles." "Both want to bring me in for a game in the next few weeks. Oklahoma State called back later this week and offered me on the phone."
With the list of potential suitors growing, which programs will Quinn visit?
"I'm definitely going to visit Oklahoma State and I will try to make it out to Arizona, said Quinn." "I don't know how the others yet at this time."
"What about the in-state programs, is he currently considering any official or unofficial visits?
"I'm looking at visiting Louisiana Tech, I don't know if I will make it to ULM or ULL, said Quinn." "I will consider other visits, but I haven't made up my mind at this time."
According to Giles, academics are important to him and he is not just looking at the football program. Quinn currently has a 3.7 GPA and scored an 18 on his last ACT test.
"Academics are important to me, "Giles stated." Football is great, but I want to have a degree after I'm done with football. But I also want to play ball with my cousin CerDerrick Tyson."
CeDerrick Tyson is a 5-8, 190-pound running back prospect at Evangel high and first cousin to Quinn Giles.
"We have talked about playing together at the next level, Quinn stated." "I want to play with CeDerrick in college, we are looking at which schools are interested in him."
Louisiana, ULM and Louisiana Tech have all expressed some interest in Tyson.
