What did he think of the system and style of play on the court?

"They pushed the ball up the floor at times and played pressure defense, Jarred." "They pressed on defense and ran the court well. We play very similar to them on defense and offense. I can play that style of basketball, and run the court.

At 6-10,210-pounds, what is Shaw's strong part of his game on defense, rebounding or shot blocking?

"Well I would have to say my shot blocking,Shaw said." "But I've been working on my rebounding and positioning, its improving every day."

How would shaw describe his offensive game?

"I would say that my game facing the basket is good, said Jarred." "I can jump out about 15 feet from the free throw line and hit that shot. I can hit that same shot from the baseline as well, but I'm still working on my game with my back to the basket."

"I'm looking for a program that has a good coaching staff, core group of athletes and solid academics, Shaw stated." "I want to play as soon as possible and getting my degree will be important to me as well."
